This is an update on a house i am buying,title company said it is messed up title,i did 3 hours of research, i am not a searcher so it took awhile but i enjoy putting the pieces together.Sure enough i was able to prove to my attorneys satisfaction that i am actually getting 2 houses on the property which have had seperate deeds in the past so pretty easy to deal with it. Original title company may not provide title policy but we may be able to find one that will.If we can we have a mortgage,if not use our own money.The house we knew nothing about is about a $150000 house from the outside. The house is occupied so it will be interesting when i knock on the door,i dont even know if it is the guy who owned it or a tenant living there.I love these crazy deals. --74.77.xx.xx

Roy, this is a free house worth $150000, i did the work because everyone else just said forget it too many problems,afterwards i presented it to my attorney,deed by deed,mortgage,foreclosure etc,i spent $30 just in copying expenses and he agrees with me so i will be proceeding,if this title company wont give me a policy i know 1 who probably will,if not i will buy it with no policy.Probably 2-3 weeks to close still.

DJ- I will let you know what happens when i knock on the door,i am going to wait until i own it to do that so the guy cant file something and hold up my purchase, hopefully it turns out to be a tenant who will want to stay, i dont keep a lot of places but this is a real nice neighborhood,real good school district,i think we will keep this place long term,we may sell the one we actually thought we were buying to begin with
