State Specific Question About: GEORGIA (GA)
Is a sheriff required to evict tenant in GA?
I have a writ of possession for my tenant however I am told I must have a sheriff present for the eviction. The sheriff's first availability is not until Jan 4 2024. I looked on online and did not find anything on a sheriff being required but also could not find anything saying they have to be there as well.
