Well I am sure there are others out there, but when I had an issue with the hold over after a franchise operator died on me, I used Attorney Hampilos out of Rockford.
He might be able to recommend someone that is closer to the south side as he is on the far West edge of Chicagoland. He was able to tackle the difficult issues - but that toughness does come with a steep price.
Then again, do you want the best heart Doctor or an alright Doc when you have a medical issue? If the eviction is a simple one, you might not a super expensive one --24.101.xxx.xxx |

Interesting that Ray-N-Pa recommends an attorney in Boone & Winnebago Counties instead of Cook County.
I have nothing against this attorney, but he is not in, nor does he claim to work in Cook County courts.
I have been away from Chicago for half-a-century, but everything USED TO BE extremely personal and corrupt in Chicago and Cook County.
Maybe you want an attorney who works in and knows his way around Cook County courts.

I just sold a Pizza Hut located over in Dixon in Lee County about seven weeks ago. I am in the middle of 1031. I had a long term +23 year franchise die on me. Yum Corp yanked the franchisee from the family as the were floundering.
So I need legal help as I really didn't know how the courts would deal with a matter like this. Turns out, they accepted cash for keys.
With you being where you are now, and having a history in Chicagoland, you might be the only one that knows the two schools I attended. My undergrad was down at SIU and my graduate degree was from Chapman. --24.101.xxx.xxx |
