A company that gives a bond for tenant damage? They have your money and you have to try and get it from them. If I have a deposit, I have the money and can deduct for damage without having to prove that damage falls under the terms of the "insurance". Whoever is offering the service most likely has a lot of reasons why they don't have to pay.
Plus it looks like the tenant has to make payments, so they can always stop the payments as soon as you give them the keys and they move in, and there goes your security against damage. --76.178.xxx.xxx |

There is a second , also important reason I ask for the maximum legally allowed deposit: to determine the applicant has the financial resources and is not living paycheck to paycheck.
Even if the applicant is A+ in every area (credit, income, rental history) I still ask for 1.5 mos deposit, because why not --68.56.xxx.xx |
