6x6, can you please share what the title of the post was so I can search for the tips?
Your post reminds me to take updated exterior photos while we have the wildflowers and green grass. In the summer, the grass all dies and we have huge cracks in the ground.

Renne, I don't remember what the title of the post was but I will tell you what I remember and did.
If I remember correctly, Brad uses a bright light behind him shining in the direction that he wants to take the picture. I am assuming this is for the inside of the house but it may work for the outside. I did discover that you have to be careful about where you are standing or you will cast a shadow and it will be in your pictures.
Also you stand in the corners of the room and take pictures of the opposite corner, at least that is what I did.
Brad may have more tips for the outside as well. When I did the outside of mine I just tried to make sure that my camera was straight and see what was being shown in the Lense.

Yes, Busy, so many tacky photos out there. Mini blinds askew, detritus out on counters, drills and purses in the pictures, doormats not properly lined up, etc...

Sometimes it is a real challenge to avoid the reflections in the mirrors with small areas.
I like the idea of using a background light. My oldest was a video major when she started college. I think I still have some of the lights and tripods in storage.
Will see how that works.
As far as toilet picks go I replaced the flooring in the bath of the last rehab. I put the stool in the tub and took a picture for the boss. Said it was to save time. Shower and potty break at the same time.
Ended up tiling the bathroom so took the stool out to the carport. Picture that followed said something like enjoy the outdoors while doing your business.
