Who would you report Raft fraud to? We have a family that the husband makes 700, a week and his wife has a job. They recently have purchased a huge TV, and expensive Gym equipment, a new Suv , a washer and dryer among other toys.
They have not paid rent and under the COVID thing we could do much about it, They applied for and received about 20K in back rent. They are also nasty and we would not miss them if they were gone,
We tried to report it to RAFT but they said they did not have the resource's to check out tenet's statements and just took their claims that they did not have the funds to pay the rent,..so RAFT paid, (Which means you and I the taxpayer did)

Perhaps you should reach out for to the IG department of the welfare office.

Maybe its reagional ,but at this office I was told that 2xs

Well esentally we are asking for a investigation. What purpose would we be making it up,..assuming it would be looked into. and what would the DMV be involved? They purchased their car before they got their RAFT money, using their other income.

Wouldn't waste your time. The purpose of RAFT was to buy tenant votes. They don't care about landlords. Just evict and see if they come up with the money.
Reporting their fraud to the same agency that wants you to believe they did a good job handing out money is a waste of time. You'll get more satisfaction out of making a big key scratch along the side of their SUV. --108.69.xxx.xxx |

I find you can't do that in Ma, IE. you can't say to a MTM tenant that you are not renewing like in other states,.
They have nemerous rental contract violations exactly for noise (in 3 years police has been there at least a doz times for loud arguments,they snuck in a dog and two cats in violation of a no pet unit,,they have overloaded porches, left trash around etc , altered the apt w/o permission also against our contract,..etc,..
Paid a lawyer recommended by the Local LL's assoc thousands and the judge allowed them to stay.

You need to bill the damages in next rent cycle, many owners/managers do not do this but court requires owners to make repairs in 30 days. Get a better lawyer this time around.

More bribes are coming. Just heard the gov't wants to use Medicare or Medicad to pay up to 6 months of tenants rent. (that will morph into 12 months by Nov.)
We have a tenant who during the beginning of V19 took out a PPP loan to keep his CLOSED BARBAR shop unopened. He brought an 88K dodge and a shinny new motor cycle. After 6 days he wrecked it and spent the next 2 months in ICU.
We are still waiting on judge to sign writ of possession )over 3 months now) with no signature in sight.
These leech's have attached themselves to society and not much we can to except try to burn them off us. (did not say burn them out) --108.239.xx.xx |
