Squatters torment homeowners across US with no resolution in sight: 'It's a problem'

Worked with a guy whose uncle died and willed him his house and land in rural OK. The coworker flew out to check on it. Migrants had moved in, trashed the house, garbage and cars outside. He returned with a 5 gal can of gas , walked thru the place and lit it on the way back out to his rental car. He dealt with the police and insurance company remotely and settled it.

If the Govt fails to protect private property rights, then property owners will take matters into their own hands. Not sayings it's the right decision; not saying it's the moral decision; not even saying it's what I would do myself or recommend to anyone else... I'm saying it's what will happen. I expect to see more stories like the one above and the "squatting on squatters" we saw on YT recently.

Mafia? Who knows. I don't want to mess with those guys regardless.

Skunk essence? Bees? Mmmm... now THAT seems doable.

The first duty of Govt, before anything else, is to protect citizens from all threats both foreign and domestic. Squatters are a prefect example of a domestic threat. Failure to do their duty means citizens will DIY.
