Not long ago someone was showing an example of using Google forms to prequalify applicants but while changing to a new computer I lost that information. Anyone have an example? --47.202.xxx.xx

Kevin,

For what it's worth we don't bother with pre-qualification.

Complete the app (it's online) and $25 fee for our time. (cheap!)

We are paid for our time and it automatically screens out SOME baddies. (they still apply anyway BUT I we get paid for each one!)

They use up YOUR time to provide the form and review it, and a pre-qual does not stop the liars.

How much is your time worth to review these pre-quals?

BRAD

Brad, with my system everything is automated. I don’t spend ANY time sending the form out OR reviewing the unqualified. It’s all automated. My time is too valuable to be communicating back and forth with tire kickers.

My system emails me when somebody passes pre-qualification, THEN I invest time in scheduling a showing. I LOVE when they lie on the pre-screener because then I get paid to deny them.

In my market, charging an application fee before allowing a showing screams scam, and isn’t the approach I’m willing to take.

Kevin, I’ll post a link to mine later tonight. --172.58.xxx.xx

Simplest way to start:

Set up an auto-response (vacation responder) on the email you want them to contact, and send them a link to the form.

When they complete & submit it, have it go to your email inbox.

You will never have to spend a second wasted on all the ones who don't complete it.

If you or someone you know is really tech savvy, you can set it up more automated than that.

I got GREAT help from a computer genus who set me up - Thank you, again : ) --68.229.xxx.xxx

I use a Google form primarily to see if they can follow directions, as well as to see what other properties they might be interested in, and if they smoke. I don’t accept smokers. At all. Kids or pets? Sure. Smokers? Nope.

My Google form is set to turn red in the spreadsheet if they smoke, and I flat out just never respond if they smoke. --149.76.xxx.xx

I just posted a new thread title "Google automated form ex" with my form example. Take it for a test drive.

That one is linked to my throw away email address. --71.63.xx.xx
