Rent is being increased by $$$$ due to an increase in taxes, insurance, labor and inflation. The new rent amount will be $$$$ starting May 1st 2023.

I remind the tenant that my cost of insurance, property, taxes, and repairs are increasing. They know it, but they donít want to acknowledge it. In 50 years I probably lost two tenants due to a monthly rent increase. They just needed a reason. --99.23.xxx.x

Message:

Follow your local / state laws on timing, if you have not downloaded your laws since before covid prolly a good idea to check on changes that occured during that time. Due to increase operating costs, rent is being raised 80 or 120 bux monthly beginning xx xx xx date. --76.190.xxx.xxx

Rent increase or adjust (by MC [PA]) Posted on: Mar 17, 2023 7:37 AM
Message:

I just give a 30 day notice(or more) and say rent will be XX beginning on X date if you don't agree please give your signed notice by X date. SO was all about the words but I am not. If someone doesn't think that YOUR expenses have gone up, they live under a rock. --73.230.xxx.xx

I like the word ADJUST. That is softer than increase. I will start using adjust! --172.59.xxx.xx

Thank you,

Your greedy landlord
