A broken water line should be covered by insurance. There must be more to this story. How is a broken water line neglect?
Also, writing in all caps is considered yelling. --68.46.xx.xxx |

Did you my chance vent a bit to the insurance company? Sometimes the least said the best. Maybe you have new information that would be a help in making as claim. --172.58.xx.xx |

Turn back the clock 13.75 years and begin quarterly inspections, owner/manager neglected routine maintenance is the proper title. The real question is why? --76.190.xxx.xxx |

I was thinking as Vee, in that the owner was neglectful on that one. --73.120.xx.xx |

Train your tenants on how to find and turn off the main water valve in case of emergencies like this. Then make it a lease violation to pile their junk near it or in any way obstruct access to that valve. Also make it a lease violation to fail to notify landlord of any water leak, no matter how small.
It's the landlords job to train tenants to do these things. --107.141.xx.xxx |
