Tenant reports that the washer in the vertical washer/dryer is getting low water levels? What do you think the problem is? Easily fixable?

In the Us they tried to reduce water consumption on top load washing machines to make closer to a front load while at the same time the wash is less then clean. A top load washing has wash and rinse cycle where a front load washing has pre wash, wash and three rinse cycles where the water level is below the glass where a front load washing machine uses 40 per cent less water. First check strainers on fill valves where remove then clean strainers next there is a water level switch connect to hose where that controls the level of water during the wash and rinse cycle where a screw on some level can be adjusted. Consider viewing a few different videos on You Tube where type in type of washing along with fault where can see how the washing machine works. Once the fill hoses are removed check water flow where use a bucket. So in the end a adjustment or changing out a part is going to cost less then replacing the washing machine. --68.69.xxx.xxx

Check the filter washers on the Hose and where the hoses screw into the back of the washing machines. When they get clogged, it restricts the flow causing less water per load. --47.149.xxx.x

The washing machine will fill until the pressure switch tells it to stop. If it just doesn’t fill, It’s likely a failing pressure switch. If it takes a lifetime to fill, then it could be debris in the filter as mentioned before. --71.63.xx.xx

What is a vertical washer? A stacked unit? Front loader? Inquiring minds require more information. --172.56.xx.xxx

Are you / they sure the water level selector is not set on "low"?

or that the water level selector knob is functioning?

Plenty: I think L. Lori means a top-loader --68.229.xxx.xxx
