Greetings all!

Those of you who have been reading a while know that I was diagnosed with cancer back in March. It has been a roller coaster since that time.

I had a PET scan in April for a baseline. Another PET in August showed the cancer had grown and spread a bit since the one in April.

I had another PET just this past Thursday, Dec 1.

I’m thrilled to share that there is NO CHANGE since August!

I’ll never be cancer free, and I’ll be in treatment for the remainder of my life, but I’m now considered stable with treatment. I’ll have another PET in about 6 months to double check things then.

Hi, I'm sorry, I didn't know. Hang in there. Cancer sucks but glad to see you are managing. Do you have any support groups in your area? We had a small one that really helped me deal with it. I'm 4 years clean but it's always a sword of Damocles hanging over your head.

That's good news to be found stable with treatment. After my first scare, each time I went back for a follow up was very nerving...and more treatment...then the follow ups.
