I finally got power back. I have a generator but it doesn't power the whole house. Lots of trees down but no house damage that I know of. --65.188.xxx.xxx |

DJ,
No storms here. But we’re ALL gonna get hit! After every major storm the insurance companies whine their reserves are used up by the storm claims and increase rates, shingles, lumber, and decking prices jump and supplies are scarce, with FL getting priority delivery.
Last time I lost 2 great roofers when they drove south to grab up all that insurance money.

Yeah, Brad - I feel bad for anyone who is trying to find contractors for a rehab now.
They're all heading south! --68.229.xxx.xxx |

What was left of Ian passed over our house, but it was down to a tropical depression. No damage to speak of at our house or any of the rentals. --216.218.xxx.xx |

It's raining here until Wednesday but it has been so dry the ground and trees are soaking it up. No mud. Thankfully the trees are still green It's rotating back in off the ocean and a big band is over us right now. The color green they are using makes it look like it's pouring out but it's not. --71.188.xx.xxx |

I'm in Orlando. Thankfully, we never lost power or internet at my condo and it did not sustain any damage or flooding. My tenants evacuated - they lost power at the house but it came back on the next day. The only damage there was some of the skirting needed to be put back in place & resecured. --64.175.xx.xxx |

We will find shortages of materials. It's coming around the corner. As more demand for materials start coming in from storm damaged area. Happen every storm. --172.56.xx.xxx |

Glad to hear everyone has fared well - especially Robin in Orlando. You had to be the hardest hit of all.
I just lost cable internet Friday. A tree limb must have taken out a wire somewhere.
We only got the remnants, but a lot of wind along with rain. --68.229.xxx.xxx |
