Two things. Another spotless place returned to us this morning. And she was in that great a housekeeper while she was there. But the place is perfect. And she left us candy! So new guy moves in tomorrow. If he can. Which brings me to my next point... We have seen more people with COVID in the last few weeks then we have in the last few years. It is back with a vengeance here. People aren't ending up in the hospital as much but they are ending up very sick at home.
So the guy tomorrow will have a key left outside somewhere and it will be a contactless turnover. --174.206.xx.xxx |

Yup, it's rearing it's ugly head in the Philadelphia suburbs. Both of us are recovering from it. Moderate symptoms, thanks to keeping up with the vaccines. Good plan to stay away from the new tenant.

The trick is to not get tested. If you never get tested, you'll never test positive. I have had two colds this season , but no fever. if I had it and someone else caught it, its on them if they weren't vaccinated --50.4.xxx.x |

You just as well get used to it being around, it's much like a cold now at it's worst. We came back to the states from a trip to Europe just before they eliminated the testing requirements on re-entry, so we had to test. One third of our group had it but no one had any symptoms. Simply had to stay in a hotel room for another 5 days until the test showed negative, everyone bored out of their minds.
I don't really understand the "It is back with a vengeance", it's no more severe than a cold at worst and at best you don't even know you have it. I would be more afraid of the flu, shingles, cancer, or any other ailment that you could catch from a tenant than I would Covid at this point. --209.205.xxx.xx |

My daughter just got it for the 2nd time overseas. Not terribly sick but felt crummy enough she was lucky it happened when it did. They don’t have quarantine rules anymore but was unable to pull herself together to pack up her apartment and start her traveling before returning to the US. She cancelled her first 4 days of travel and left the 28th. The lucky part was she had paid for June’s rent so it didn’t matter that she turned her keys in on the 28th vs 24th. --75.67.xxx.xxx |

It's not putting people in the hospital like it was, but incoming tenant says it's still awful and he should know. So I'm glad the contactless comings and goings set up during full-blown Covid are still usable!
The shockingly clean turnover is only shocking because we truly didn't think this woman knew what clean meant, but the checklist was on the counter with the key, initialed and dated, and darned if she didn't do every single thing on the list!
Except for breaking the stove trying to clean it and two washers (!) trying to use eco-friendly cleaning products (really weird stuff) she'll get her full deposit back. --50.82.xxx.xxx |

Have had two Astra Zeneca Vaccinations then two Phizer Vaccinations along with flu Vaccination where so far no problems. In Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph county there are 90 cases or 13 per day with no deaths. The percentage of people Vaccinated here is very high where Covid 19 is still here but Vaccinated people are not being put on life support or dying. Well some disliked the mandates the number of cases has gone down significantly where the hospitals and health system is supposed to function at 95 per capacity where now doctors are looking after people with other conditions. I remember in public school they first used a needle then second time a machine where the mark is on arm where polio vaccination no objections then where is polio today. Yeah, my GP told me Covid was on the rise locally again. He said if I show symptoms to test at home. If positive, message or call and he will send a Rx for anti-virals. If I test negative, come in for a PCR test to be sure. --149.76.xxx.xx |
