Well. It has happened. The local organization that helps the homeless has run out of money. They are $27,000 in the hole. Fortunately we got paid the 3 months rent that our tenants are behind. ERAP money is apparently still available.

Guess the this will happen elsewhere.

Rental assistance could be from a relative or a church. Just because they say they will get it doesn't mean they will. I have told tenants in the past that I don't care who it comes from so long as it clears. I think they are talking about the big organizations above.
