What system do you use to collect your monthly rent payments from your tenants? We welcome many landlords to give us your feedback with this question. We Thank You Very Much!! Example, the president of a local bank were I live owns alot of rental property, but he collects his rent in person. We DO NOT recommend doing this. We know him quite well, but we can't believe he does this.

For many M&P landlords, collecting rent in person is actually quite common,...at least in my town it is. Personally, I do not do it. Most of my tenants use some form of direct deposit like using Zelle. --71.207.xxx.x |

I did either stop by my house or Direct Deposit. I encouraged Direct Deposit. But don't tell me you are coming by and not show-you get to do it once. Lucky that all of my tenants direct deposit into the credit union account. Makes it so much easier for tracking and such. No more going to the bank every few days looking for checks.
Have one guy buying on contract who sends the money via biz check each month. I allow it because I am getting good money for not dealing with undesirable places. --107.147.xx.xxx |

1 bank I won't deal with....ever. was denied my very first loan there an will never step foot in there again about 20 years ago
What ever the tenant wants....as long as they pay.. few will deposit into my account at different banks...not my primary

Most of my tenants pay at my (centrally located) office.
The good-
We have regular business hours...so it is convenient for them, with little room for excuse.
If the there is a problem with a property, I usually know it pretty quick.
The bad-
