I have a neighbor next door that by my driveway I cut grass.

the neighbor came out and said get off my f property. Saw I decided

to move about a foot and let the grass grow. The neighbor called

the city and then made me cut the grass. Saw I try to hire a property

boundary person but they wanted $1,000.

My question is: Since the neighbor and my property do not know

the boundary. what would you do in my case. --157.245.x.xxx

What happened at the initial interaction when he said to get off his property? Did you speak to him to attempt to figure out who is to cut the grass? If it's your grass, he can't keep you off it.

What kind of an area? A two foot strip between two driveways where you each are to maintain one foot? I would continue to mow as I saw fit and ignore him after NICELY telling him you will listen to any solutions.

Is he just a cranky old "you stinkin' kids, get off my grass" guy or is it something else? --98.237.xxx.xx

Hire a surveyor eventually but $1000? Yikes is that typical? Here we spend about $500-$650 depending on lot size and difficulty (weeds, overgrowth, etc.) --50.82.xxx.xxx
