So I decided to order two appliances from Costco.com, they don't stock these items in stores, on Sale! To be delivered to my home, then I'd take them to rentals as needed. They took my money and sent me some paperwork via an email. Shipping label created. On the way. To be here by Friday (today). Then a message early delivery, Thursday morning.
So the Vendor to Costco lost the shipment to UPS. Took only 15 minutes to get a Costco person to help me on the phone and another 10 minutes to confirm shipment's (2) lost.
UPS says they never got the green light to pick up the appliances
The manufacturer can't get involved with Costco sales or lost merchandise -- this is too common of an issue. The Vendor Warehouse between the Manufacture to Costco has sticky fingers and it's considered normal to loose appliances (Air Conditioners).
In the mean time my tenants who a/c stopped working is heated up but understanding.
Even though I have a dozen spare a/c units, none of mine are of the right cooling rating, 12,000 BTU.
I am so sick and tired to supplies fooling around with landlords. Even my normal a/c supplier thinks he's doing me a favor by offering lousy service and retail pricing. --47.155.xx.xxx |

Have ordered a number of AC units from Amazon. All delivered so far. 18000 btu heat cool ac scheduled for delivery Tuesday. Decided to buy an extra before the price goes up in summer --72.199.xxx.xxx |

Never had an issue with Costco on any order, but we order our HVACs through AJ Madison in New York, as we buy through-wall heat pumps and Costco doesn't sell them. --50.82.xxx.xxx |

I don't understand why you couldn't put in 2 smaller ones, or a larger one - just temporarily so the Tenant doesn't melt.

A few times that I went to a Brink and Mortar store, the store was an official dealer for the appliance manufacturer.
For this reason the store did not have to deal with me and offer no warranty, I had to deal directly with the manufacturer who said, "So long as the a/c flows cold air, it's working and they will do nothing. No return, exchange or repair. I showed the work tech with my Fan Speed Meter that instead of Hi-Med-Low speeds of 140 mph, 115 mph and 70 mph, the fan was at only one speed -- 60 mph and did not cool a 500 square foot room as claimed, not even a 200 foot room.
So I had to get the advertiser that got the store 80% of their business to honor a defective machine and do an exchange or they won't be allowed to advertise to an apartment association.
Now with all of my purchase out of Home Depot, Lowe's and Costco, I use my American Express Card. When I tell the place that I got a defective appliance and they fail to fix, replace or refund within a few days, AE will credit my account and tell the appliance store take back their junk of forfeit any claims. --47.155.xx.xxx |

So Costco admitted there was something strange about their supplier loosing a shipment to UPS. They ordered another 2 air conditioners to be sent to me using another of their suppliers before the manufacture's rebate was over.
The second supplier also couldn't deliver to UPS the units. They only weigh 50 pound each.
This is a strange issue. Costco promoting an a/c unit and two of their suppliers unable to hand the packagers over to UPS.
Is UPS going out of the shipping business?
Is Costco stop selling products?
Are they charging my credit card trying to go Bankrupted and keep those funds. Are they just screwing around with customers?
I don't know and will have to wait another week for a product located less than 20 miles away to be shipped to my home. --47.155.xx.xxx |

Costco's second supplier sent me a UPS detail shipping alert. It's on the way. Weighing only 1 pound. Funny the two a/c weight is 100 pounds. Again another Costco crappy service. Manufactures discount is over. I'm going to make Costco honor their sale/discount. --47.156.xx.xx |
