Best trash can container to keep cats, dogs and trash pandas out of 4 trash cans at a 4 plex.
Lids don't work as residents 50% don't cover them or animals opens them anyway
We can build one but not wild about the looks (even though it would look better than trash strung everywhere)
Thinking about a JOBBOX type. Heavy, sealed, looks decent Maybe for our lake cabin VRBO as well
Thoughts?

Bought six units that had a common collection (drop off) area. People would just toss stuff in that direction. Was a mess. I rented 90 gallon totes for each unit, tagged them and made it their responsibility to take care of the debris.
The city finally decided to supply totes for everybody so I was off the hook.
This is right next to a big wooded area. No problems with trash pandas getting in the totes.
Only time I had problems was one tenant kept leaving food on the porch for a feral cat and it brought in some other critters. I put a stop to that. --107.147.xx.xxx |

Have you thought about a small dumpster? 2-4 yards picked up weekly or every other week have worked well for me in the past --72.231.xxx.xxx |

Do a google search for bear proof trash can. Specifically look at the ones that have a self closing/latching lid. We put these in at a Church camp in the mountains where the kids would never close the lid on the old ones. They were a bit pricy, about $3,000 each. --209.16.xx.xxx |

Ken- YES for many years. Not a real good spot (actually no spot) to have a dumpster. AND the city will charge us regardless whether we use their service or not (Not that big of deal)
We have a dumpster at our business and we love it. Too far away to share
Maybe another site I could share one with another business --96.31.xxx.xxx |

My earlier reply disappeared.
(Perhaps the word TRASH is offensive to the internet filters!)
Lowes has a 6x3 metal shed designed to hold 2 trash toters.
Open the toter, roll it in the shed. The top is slanted for rain and lifts to drop trash in the toters.
The front opens the roll out the toters on trash day.
MY store has them for $250 each. Online price is $399.
OOPs! Terrible reviews!
There is also a Rubbermaid version.
