Our Retreat in Los Cabos was just completed, and WOW, I dare say it was another awesome experience for those in attendance. Someone on another thread asked what's the big difference between our Conventions and our Retreats?

From the reviews, here are just a few of the top things liked most at the retreat as shared by landlords who attended (and the top three are what truly separate the Retreat from the Convention:

The location!

The fact that it is all inclusive.

Combination - Vacation/Education Experience.

Great inspiration and info that helps me think of new ideas.

Knowledge/experience imparted by Jeffrey, other presenters, and other landlords.

Friendships developed and interaction with other highly successful landlords and speakers.

We are also very glad to report that no one was left behind in Los Cabos because everyone tested negative when taking the Covid test to return to the US. :)

For those of you who did not join us this year, we've just posted on our website where we will hold our Landlord Retreat in 2023. To see where, go to LandlordRetreat.com :)

Jeffrey, Do you feel guilty at all that while you were enjoying a Mitai poolside with your beautiful bride, people like 6x6 down in the south were having to dig themselves out of the snow? Of all weeks to have your retreat, wow - the weather wrecked havoc on many of us. Greenville SC has more snow now than NYC!

But I do have a tax question about the retreat. I am not sure if it current law now, but previously - you could only claim a business cruise if the ship was US flagged. Does the same general guidance exist for land based (ahhhhhhh) business meetings? (I am absolutely sure that was the only reason anyone went) Last time I checked Cabo was still down in Mexico along with Sammy Haggar. --24.101.xxx.xxx

Ray, no, it was only cruises that were targeted with that restriction. Foreign conventions - held on dry land - are tax-deductible. You must have at least 5 hours of instruction per day, I think is the rule, and Jeffrey easily conforms to that rule. --50.82.xxx.xxx
