I went down this road earlier and chose ooma. BIG mistake! I lost SMS capabilities, several features, lack of support for two lines without buying several pricey ad ons. I have an obihai voip box which allows my fax line from my ISP top be used as a 2nd line on a analog business phone. (You can't find MF printers with faxes that have receiver handsets anymore.) My business ISP acct comes with one phone number as a package that i user as a fax line. You wouldn't believe how Oden the construction industry still relies on faxes! Which incoming i have set up to go to my email acct as a pdf.

Worst of all when you port back to GV there now is no free service anymore and it becomes a paid product under google workspace. GV workspace no longer has full support of my obihai box either.
