This is off topic. Feel free to skip if you like, otherwise, I hope you enjoy the poem. I have been trying to start journaling as a means to guide my path. This is just something that came to mind.

ONE LIFES JOURNEY

Along life’s path, we find ourselves on a journey

Sometimes there is more than one Journey we can take

Sometimes we just end up where we are

This is the path of one life’s journey

I am the fork in the road that you come to on one life’s journey

I am the roadblock that you find when you choose the wrong path on one life’s journey

I am the dark cloud and stormy sky on one life’s journey

I am the Demon that stands in your way on one life’s journey

I am the one that leaves you isolated and makes you isolate yourself on one life’s journey

I am the one that needs to reach out but never does on one life’s journey

This is where I am on one life’s journey

As life moves on, we will look back in time

We will see where we were and the battles that we went through on one life’s journey

This is where I will be on one life’s journey

I am beaten, I am worn, but I am not defeated

Looking into the future, I am king of the hill

I am the rock, upon which you can build

I am accomplished

I am free in my thought and in my mind

I am free in spirit

I am free from all struggles

I have found my way

I am loving, kind, giving, forgiving, and most importantly, free

I am grateful for winning the battle

I am stronger

I am depression, today

I will be tomorrow’s sunshine on one life’s journey

I love it! Holding onto the Hand of Jesus, helped me know that I am not on this journey alone. He will never leave us or forsake us ( Dueteronomy 3:16)

What a great outlook. We were never promised a life free of trials and tribulations but know, He has overcome them all - John 16;33. Phillipians 4:6-7, 1 Corinthians 10;13.

Trials grow us and strengthen our faith. I pray you have someone to journey this life path with - Proverbs 17:17
