Good day! For those of you who have rooming houses, what's the best camera to use in the common areas? Any legalities to consider?

I have Ring Doorbell cameras at the front and back doors only so I can see who is coming and going. I would only consider inside cameras if there is some suspected illegal activity going on, even then I would notify them and make sure the cameras are visible. --99.150.xxx.xxx

When I had a rooming house, I had Nest cameras.

They worked with wifi & I could access them live from my computer or phone.

I could look back 10 days (depending on the plan you have) & save video clips for future use. --68.229.xxx.xxx
