I hope all are having a nice weekend.
Years back I could go online to your phone service provider and use a page to send you a text from my computer and keyboard.
Is anyone aware whether this is still available through the carriers or a website?

I use google voice for the rentals, which allows me to text from a computer. I’m not sure if normal carriers offer it anymore. --172.56.x.xxx |

I'm assuming you are talking about email to text. You need to know the recipient's current phone provider. For instance, Tmobile uses phonenumber@tmomail.net.
If the recipient's carrier has been acquired, or if they changed providers without changing phone numbers, the message might not be delivered. --181.214.xxx.xx |

Smok,
We do ALL our communication with prospects and residents on Google Voice. It's free and we do it from our regular computer keyboard.
For residents we go to Google Contacts and label them such as
123 Mary Smith.
We can call up ALL messages to and from her easily.
HUGE benefit is the ability to send the text to multiple persons such as Him and Her. Avoids that "He didn't tell me" syndrome.
If the conversation is extra special, such as agreeing to pay for a new animal, we can easily copy it and paste it into WORD, put it in their digital file or print it out for their lease folder.
A friend just told me about MESSENGER FOR WEB by Google. Free and can do tricks much easier than VOICE.
