I painted a unit 11 years ago when the tans and browns were in style. The paint that I used that was called peanut butter. I have not painted it since. Recently open and it’s getting an overhaul. Looking at the new paint color compared to the old paint, it makes you wonder how those Browns were even in style such a short time ago. I have not painted it at turnovers, because it didn’t need a full on paint job. I’m just sick of looking at it. New paint, new lighting. Will be good to go. I figure those peanut butter walls collected me at least $80,000. --24.152.xxx.xx

I love the names of paint. I helped my daughter-in-law paint my Grandsons room.

The color was called atomic vomit!

It was their home so I kept my mouth shut.....although it was somewhat difficult. That was 15 years ago but I have never forgotten that paint name..I laugh quite often when I think back to that time. --67.22.x.xx

I can't stand grey paint. All it makes me think of is "primer". You pay the same for a lovely blue or pleasant pale green or happy sunflower yellow (like my kitchen) as you do for a gallon of grey or white. "Landlord beige" and HGTV "50 Shades of Gray" is depressing. And spare me the horror of white and stainless steel kitchens -- they look like a morgue. --67.186.xx.xxx

have been cottage white w brown floors.

I hate grey, white and black. My home is cream/beiges, browns, greens ... same with my units. I have color everywhere with seasonal accents. It all looks very nice. I always paint the kitchens and bathrooms yellow, green or blueish tones. --98.237.xxx.xx

Careful gang! The colors are not to please US, they are to please Momma and encourage her to pay us rent.

I cannot look at the walls and other color choices with Boomer eyes. The majority of prospects are Millennials and iGen.

Even Boomer prospects like fresh colors.

NE, Smooth or crunchy?

Hey! You got chocolate in my peanut butter! (For you youngens, it's from Old Reese Cup commercials)

I'm the same. We just did a turnover last painted CAMEL TAN years ago. The home looked so dreary! Now Repose grey - fresh and RENTED!
