US Treasury Says Nearly $2.8 Billion Distributed in Rental Aid in September - Reuters
State and local governments distributed nearly $2.8 billion in Emergency Rental Assistance program funds in September, up from about $2.6 billion in August and bringing the year-to-date total to $10.3 billion, the U.S. Treasury said on Monday.
The Treasury said some 510,000 American households were helped by the aid to pay rent, utilities and arrears, compared to 459,000 in August.

I have (thankfully) just one tenant who has applied. Two weeks after I sent in my end of the paperwork, I got an email stating that the payments would be sent out within "10-15 business days." When it didn't show up, I called the office. After leaving two messages and sending an email, I got a phone call back a week later telling me that the auto-send email needed to be updated, it was up to 45 business days. Boy am I glad that I don't have any mortgages and that my business model doesn't rely on government payments!
