To focus on some nice things for a change : )
I have a contractor who did some good work (Especially good attitude & communication) on my last reno.
I've asked him to look at the one I'm buying Tuesday, to help solidify scope & price of work.
He replied basically: Sure! I can arrange my schedule to be there - I like working with you. You're so reasonable.
Awe shucks - made me feel good.
Of course, I complimented him too.
Who else has one? No need to be specifically work-related.
Giving warm-fuzzies counts, too.

HA! Probably not that far - he seems to keep busy.
I was really asking: What warm fuzzies has you received or given?
Lets have Happy thoughts for a while : ) --68.229.xxx.xxx |

Another thing I found inspiring today:
Mission BBQ at noon.
I don't know how far the chains restaurants are spread - I'm sure some of you have enjoyed their food.
I had it at a REIA event a couple years ago, and have done take-out a few times. Today is the first time I ate in. For lunch. Just before noon.
I was enjoying & singing along (in my head) to the country music they were playing when all of a sudden it stopped at 12:00. They announced it, then played the national anthem. Everybody stood and saluted the big flag hanging from the ceiling in the middle of the restaurant. Actually showed silent respect - unlike the talkers at so many sporting events & other places where it is played.
I wasn't expecting it, but really enjoyed it. Call it a Patriotic warm fuzzy : )
Kinda gave me a little hope that not EVERYONE in this country has gone totally crazy. --68.229.xxx.xxx |

My hubby became sick, first with a sore throat and then just overnight it turned to sneezing, coughing and congestion, so his B-day party for Sunday was cancelled.
My daughter showed up at 8:30 a.m. with warm banana bread and a smaller warm friendship cake along with a singing candle.
She only came as far as the front porch but her thoughtfulness gave us both warm fuzzes.

My handy man could fix everything but a broken heart and the crack of dawn. He retired on me about 7yrs ago and I referred to him as the A team.
I still stop by his house and visit when I’m on that side of town.
Last week I stopped by and he will repair a kitchen door that a tenant broke in half. I ask how much dinero’s? His price $10.00 I said how about $25?
He’s 84.
He grew up on a farm in Minnesota.
Reliable, honest, integrity . Always a warm greeting when you see him. --174.210.xxx.xxx |

I had one. He did side jobs for extra $ he is great. Sadly, for me anyway, his boss finally woke up and started paying him more & bought him a new truck. Can't blame the guy for wanting to spend more time after work with family and having fun.
But dang, I miss him. --174.198.xxx.xxx |
