Buyer kills his realtor

Buyer bought this sight unseen, was upset, killed realtor when they met at the house. ANOTHER attack/murder during SHOWING!!! Stay outside! They cam find the kitchen. .

What a waste. We never know what's going on inside their heads

I'm guessing a total surprise, no chance to grab a weapon.

Can't help but wonder what was going thru the owner's head. 1st to buy a home sight unseen. Could'a just taken a weekend to visit the area and look at houses before buying. 2nd to be so upset, he kills the realtor. Could'a just put the house back on the market.

Can only guess that the 84 year old owner was having a hard dealing with the details of life. He had a son that (I imagine), could have helped but those conversations between an elderly person and their children are very hard. The child has to become the parent.

I think the Realtor's intentions were to simply to go over and smooth over things with the buyer. He had no clue that the buyer was going to shoot him. I suspect he felt that he was dealing with someone who was rational. The buyer should have never bought a house sight unseen and if he did then he should have accepted the responsibility rather than transfer it to the realtor. Again, that's how a rational mind works which apparently is not the case here. --172.58.xxx.xx

More info shows the police responded, old man told them he killed the realtor, then killed himself.

Was upset the home did not match the description.

J/FL - Dave/MO -- I am guessing neither of you has had to deal on a daily basis with elderly family of that age group with terminal/serious medical conditions.

That is not dementia. It is a false sense of responsibility. The husband has taken care of the wife for 65ish years and is so worried that when he passes no one else will be able to take care of her the way he did. Or she is sick and suffering and the doctors won't assist her in ending it so to alleviate her pain and suffering, he "helps" her move along ... and then himself. --98.237.xxx.xx
