State Specific Question About: CALIFORNIA (CA)
Our tenant in the ADU on our property installed a big canvas tent with gym equipment in it. It is visible from our side of the property and interferes with their AC unit.
We sent (2) emails asking them to remove it , but nothing happened yet.
Not sure what to do next.

The problem is you asked. Your job as a manager is to TELL. You can still do that politely, but it must be firmly. No wishy washy.
Letters like are not effective without 2 things:
-firm deadline. A DATE, not a number of days.
- pain. A penalty to be avoided. A hefty monetary fine plus removal by the LL on this date _______.
Now, add this to your lease: No outside storage other than furniture manufactured for outdoor use.
