I have a property that had a parcel of land subdivided. The parcel is taxed separately and has a separate address from the original property. It does not have its own deed . The deed to the original property has not been changed either. Is this something that should be done now or not necessary until either property is sold and needs a new deed?

If the parcel is taxed separately, it will have it's own tax number, which means it will have the property description. I would go and talk to the township assessor and talk to that person.
Find out if the land survey was registered and when it was completed.
There may be a Deed, but if so, it may not have been registered or recorded within the Court house, so check on that.
Who owned the property before you bought it? I would certainly NOT wait. It should be taken care of now. Also, did you received Title insurance when the property was purchased. I would also talk to a Title company and get their view. They can be very helpful, for a reasonable fee. --67.22.x.xx |

So you have 2 parcels on 1 deed with seperate tax bills? Not a big deal,i wouldnt do anything till i sold it but just remind the attorney that you are only selling 1 parcel if that is the case --72.231.xxx.xxx |
