6x6, thanks for the link.
This is my take on things,
When will the government learn? All anyone has to do is look at the low income housing experiment in Chicago, that was a big fail.
Look up Cabrini-Green if you're interested.
Cabrini-Green ended up being one of the most dangerous places in Chicago. Shootings and deaths everyday. The police wouldn't even go in there. It was literally a war zone. It was finally torn down. And now the gov't is going to do it again.
It brings to mind a quote attributed to Einstein, "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results."
Anyway, I believe free housing takes away people's dignity. It takes away their rights. They lose all sense of working, contributing, meaning. And many fall down a deep hole of depression or they act out in violence or illegal activity. It strips people of their sense of connection to the rest of humanity.
I appreciate Peter Schiff for trying to get the word out and bringing clear thinking on these issues.
Thanks again for the link.
