Camera Rec. Sign Outside

Let's say i decide to have a meeting with tenants, at my house, i live in the same building that they live, so if i decide to have a meeting with them at my house, because i have a camera in my house, since i already have a sign placed outside my house that says: Warning! Security Cameras In Use... Does that mean that i don't have to alert them that my indoor cameras are recording?

Since here in in Massachusetts, "there’s the “two-party consent” law. The law states that you need the consent of both parties to legally record a conversation. Otherwise, you might be convicted of wiretapping." So do i have to add the word "Audio" to the sign?

In case you plan to meet everyone with a handout that summarize what you will be speaking about,...I would add to that summary page a clear message that the whole event is recorded both sound and video.

I volunteer as often as I can, . Most events have a paragraph that says that I consent to having my picture taken and used for purposes of the event. (I'm a very attractive person...)

...They also make me sign an addendum, making me promise not to eat all the cheeseburgers.

Plenty, in Missouri you don’t need to notify others that you are recording audio. MO is a “single-party” recording state.

Nellie thanks for sharing, yes the weather is lovely, I will really think about that. I just thought in my house, besides of the camera idea to record everything, also because I thought it might look and feel weird that me living in the 1st floor and them living on the 2nd floor, ask them to meet us at another place outside of the house, but now that I read all these comments, I don't feel that way --98.216.xx.xxx
