Advice needed: Looking for a 3M Hi Strength 90 Spray Bonding Multipurpose Adhesive substitute. This item is either out of stock or at outrageously high prices.
Application is to afix 3M Safety Walk Treads to exterior entrance steps.

I can't help you with the adhesive, but an alternative may be to use treads that screw down to the stair surface using stainless steel hardware. --73.177.xxx.xx |

Contact cement. Coat both surfaces, let it get tacky, and stick it down. Be sure you place it right the first time as you don't get a redo. --209.16.xx.xxx |

Wow! a hi strength adhesive spray? I'm thinking you can't avoid (and most people wouldn't even try) to breath in small aerosols even with a mask,..some things shouldn't be available in sprays unless one wears a special hazmat mask,.. --66.30.xx.xxx |

It has been about 5 years since we purchased any commercial rubber stair treads. The flooring store had a thick past like glue that applied directly to the back of each tread and wiped off afterwards --72.23.xxx.xx |
