State Specific Question About: NEW YORK (NY)
Looking seriously at a 6 unit ( one bed each ) 5500 sq foot building with one american standard old boiler for the sole heat source. Does any one have idea of how much cost to replace including labor and parts ? I was thinking between 7k to worst case 15K ???? --68.133.xx.xx |

I think I paid 7 for two Arubas for a 3800 square foot a few years ago. My plumber got me a Burnham for 5 for my home but it's only 1400 sq. feet. Oil or gas? Are you sure it needs it? Unless it's cracked those things can get very old. But I would want gas if I could get it. I switched two over from oil to gas. There is a very complicated burner that can be retrofitted onto an old oil boiler. But might have to upgrade size of gas pipe. --108.24.xx.xx |

I wouldn't be looking at the cost to replace the boiler. I'd be getting the price to separate the heat.
