This is in no way meant to be disrespectful to anyone in any way shape or form.
In fact quite the opposite.
In the last 14 months we have all experienced a lot of changes in our lives and a lot of loss of property rights. There have been so many changes and continue to be in such a short period of time.
There have been a lot of LL, even on here, who have experienced a lot of rent lost and damaged property and squatters.
Every state has implemented it's own responses to the pandemic and this just creates more confusion and chaos.
I feel like that the biggest impact that all of this has had in all of our lives is stress. Lots and lots of stress.
I have noticed a huge change in the attitudes and respect level on this forum from before the pandemic.
I am guilty myself of getting fueled up on some of the more political topics that get generated sometimes on this form. I think that it is a natural response for most people and is also a topic that does need some discussion on this form as it does apply to our rentals in part.
What is on my mind though is how everyone has changed including myself. I feel that we are all on edge and have a high level of stress, and rightfully so.
I was thinking that maybe one of the topics that could be discussed at the convention is how we have all changed. I am a fairly new poster on here and this is the first forum that I have ever been a part of and I am sure that is obvious, grins....However, I have realized that we use to be very helpful and respectful of each other and now we seem to be at odds instead. I wonder if the elephant(poor elephant) in the room were discussed that maybe it might help put things back on track as it were before the pandemic changed all of our lives.
Maybe talk about how we can destress or something. Just a thought.
With all due respect,
