Have any Indiana LLs seen a penny form the new ICDA IndianaHousingNow.org Emergency Rent money?

I have folks who applied in March that have not yet been processed -legit - I called and talked to the state people.

They said still weeks or months away.

When I checked in last November all I saw was a waiting list I could get on. They would call when you were able to submit an application. No data on the governmental strings attached. --216.23.xxx.xx

Here in OH there was a program that was short lived - it paid 60 percent of the agreed rent cost and had to decline an eviction for 6 months. I countered asking for 95 percent and I would not evict for 45 days, no dice so declined to accept and was the 2nd into court and won the unit and second cause, credit rating should be reduced drastically now. --76.188.xxx.xxx

No way I'm taking rent relief money (not due any, but hypothetically speaking, if I was...)

I know it's going to have more chains attached to that money - not strings, chains - than we could ever deal with. --50.82.xxx.xxx

The only reason we considered this was the promise from the state to pay 12 months of rent.

All we are getting is copies of messages which were sent to the resident. The State message basically says "We're behind so don't get excited cuz it will still be weeks away".

Sorry, we filed for eviction. If the money arrives we'll continue (delay) the hearing.
