One of our tenants was telling me that she got her covid "vaccine" and was telling me that she was going to get the 2nd shot the next day, and casually asked me if I had received it yet. It was a friendly conversation, but it got me to thinking.

Technically, under HIPAA, I don't believe anyone can be asked about their vaccination records (except for schools and specific other medical providers, and then that is protected information).

But the bottom line is that I'm thinking of sending out a general e-mail to tenants about this being a matter of privacy and that we will not ask them about their vaccination records, and that we ask them to also not ask other tenants about the same (though none of our tenants know each other, as none of the homes are within three miles of any of the others). But the point will be made, and will probably in their minds prevent them from asking us about our own vaccine records as well.

(This is not about whether or not masks work, or whether or not the "vaccines" are a good idea. We wear masks and social distance around tenants - and that is not a privacy issue, since it's obvious that we're doing those things. We also don't want a debate about the "vaccines" - if people choose to have them, they should feel safe around anyone who has not had them, and people who have not had them should be willing to take the risk. The point is to just politely stop people from asking others about their private medical decisions.)

People are chatting about the vaccine and Covid because it is news. And SOME people are EXCITED about getting the vaccine and feeling safer and more protected around their families.

And some people thinks it's stupid.

This thread actually gave me some good ideas, thanks! I'm going to tell everyone who asks, not just tenants, that I got it along with everyone I know. Let them know how life is good and it's been great seeing everyone again. If they're asking, they're looking for a "yes." If you tell them no, it could start drama.

I don't really want any of us to lie to our tenants, but on the other hand, all of us have had some types of vaccines. If they ask without specifying, I guess we can say we've all had vaccines.

These are not truly vaccines anyway. True vaccines prevent the recipients from ever getting the disease (as in small pox and polio vaccines). If people would bother to read the fine print on what they are signing, they would see that these are not "vaccines" but are experimental drugs that are not FDA-approved, but only have "emergency use authorization".

The manufacturers are exempt from liability in the event of adverse events, injury, or death. Whoever gets the vaccine is signing up to be in a two-year study, which recipients would know if they did their due diligence.

Just to clarify about these investigational "vaccines" - yes, boosters are required for some true vaccines like tetanus & rabies, but in their functional time frames after being fully vaccinated, they prevent the disease until it's time for boosters.

But these covid experimental drugs were never intended to prevent the recipients from getting covid even after being fully "vaccinated" - but to lessen the symptoms if the person acquires the illness. (Some say that the "vaccines" could even in some cases make the disease worse, by a mechanism called "antibody-dependent enhancement"...)

Though the percentage of people having immediate life-threatening reactions is small, the unknown long-term effects of an unapproved experimental drug pose the bigger risk for larger numbers of people.

Ivermectin given after exposure also keeps the disease from progressing and causing permanent damage, and also prevents hospitalizations. (Some believe there are also nefarious motives behind using unproven "vaccines" which can cause long-term problems.)

Businesses will begin to require it. Already signed up for a cruise, i am on notice a vaccine will be required. i would not go if they allowed non-vaccinated folks to board.

Case were they arrested someone flying from USA to Argentina who falsified vaccine records. His test turned positive, he was arrested for falsifying his vaccine records.

The novel messenger RNA system labeled a vaccine is entirely experimental. The idea is to insert mRNA into the human genome and reprogram the cellular DNA to replicate coronavirus "spike proteins." The spike proteins are supposed to rev up the immune system to better combat the COVID virus as it attaches via the "spike protein". Supposed. It is not approved by the FDA and is released only under an emergency use authorization(EUA).

Their results...the big pharma companies are all wrong. The deadliness of COVID is not caused by the virus itself but by the "spike protein" COVID is not a respiratory illness, but is a vascular disease. The problem of a vaccine causing the vaccinated to endanger the vaccinated is not new. The Sabin polio vaccine which is an attenuated life vaccine has the most unfortunate ability to mutate back into total virulence and not kill the vaccinated, but to infect their family. Bill Gates led a polio vaccination program in India which led to over 70,000 deaths by this mechanism. India is suing him. Again feel free to Google.

The Marburg virus is deadly in chickens and has a vaccine, but it leads to the vaccinated chickens shedding viral particles which kill any nearby unvaccinated within 48 hours.

Someone didn't pay attention in doctor school and certainly fell asleep in math class. In the US there are 108M people vaccinated and according to you, 4100 world-wide potential complication deaths associated with blood clots. The Covid vaccines have been proven to 95% efficacy after the 2nd dose. The Oxford vaccine which isn't the primary vaccine in the US is the target for blood clot complications. There are 33M confirmed Covid cases in the US with 581K deaths with the majority of those deaths happening before the vaccine distribution. While I agree they should continue to investigate those complications you bring up, I will stick with the results of the vaccine.

Laura, anytime you equate a religion with being a race informs me of your lack of a proper education. All religions are a choice by every individual. The children of the parents, not so much.

Pre-WW2 Germany equated those choices with a lifestyle of financial opportunity at the expense to the common workers. It was propaganda but it was believable because people needed to have somebody to blame for their predicament.

NE, this is something I will discuss with you. I was brought up in a relatively religion-free household. Oh, we went to church but I couldn't tell you which one. One of the few Protestants in a Catholic town, though. Massachusetts, full of Irish Catholics!

When I was a teenager, I started searching for a religion - I felt left out. I went to Bible Study with a minister of a Protestant Church. Took the bus on my own to meet with him on Wednesdays. I took Catechism with the Catholics (and did better than the Catholic kids at the quizzes. I got the top grade on the test about the 10 Commandments.) I actually went to Hebrew School. I learned to read the Jewish newsletters (all forgotten now though.) I studied with the Jehovah's Witnesses. I even went to crazy Christian mega-churches (you know the ones, on TV and such.) I studied Mormonism. My great-grandmother was a Christian Scientist.

I can't seem to believe in a *good* God. If there is a God he seems pretty mean to me.

Thank you, Lana, for chiming in. This is exactly what we learned. It's the unvaccinated that are actually at risk from the vaccinated, and not the reverse. (And maybe the risk for the vaccinated is even amplified from others that are also vaccinated?)
