Ten days ago I went to my property for the first time since winter assuming the tenant took care of things; a handyman by trade. The surprise du jour was the Prowler travel trailer parked square on center in the drive with electric hooked into the meter box. This was without my consent and in violation of the lease. This man works part time for law enforcement, a handy alibi for not asking permission.

I asked the tenant what was the purpose of the trailer and he said it was for a weekend pied a terre.

Today is the end of rent period and not a word.

I'm not sure what you are asking. If the trailer itself is a lease violation, issue a five (or whatever) day notice to remove it.

Issue a notice that YOUR electrician will be removing it from the electric meter and they will be paying the bill on the next month rent cycle OR contact the electric company and have them disconnect service.
