We like Vonage VOIP. It sends voicemails to e-mail, and there is also a phone app for using the Vonage phone number to make & receive calls on a mobile phone. (We also use Google Voice, which is similar is several ways.)

8x8, RingCentral and Intermedia. All can be used like a PBX.

I'm reasonably happy with Ooma. Similar features to Vonage. It's actually a single line home phone - about 14.00/m. They offer "business" packages but I don't have details. Ooma IS NOT good for fax. Interestingly enough Magic Jack works good for fax. Also similar features to Vonage. About 55.00 the first YEAR (including the tiny hardware piece), less per year afterwards. One great Magic Jack feature is their optional call screen feature. when activated, the call is greeted with a generic greeting, telling the caller to press a single (random) digit to be connected. Otherwise my phone doesn't ring. Virtually no robo-calls.

I am technologically challenged. I have Ring Central on my personal phone so that I can access the business number to call clients. It is super easy and very dependable.
