How much do you charge per load of wash for your coin op washing machine? And how much for dryer per 15 mins for example? I am in Quincy MA. Thanks All!

drive around or call the five closest places to your unit and see their prices. I'd say for convenience, you could bump it up a bit from those. --72.70.xxx.xx |

Jason -
Per the other response. Find some nearby laundromats and match. As as FYI, mine are $3.00, but thats exactly what the laundromats round me are charging. --209.6.xxx.xx |

Mine are similar to Lynn (MA) might be slightly higher. I didn’t change what they were set at. It’s definitely less than local laundry mats. It’s more of a convenience/renting plus than big money maker. --75.67.xxx.xxx |

I offer them as a convenience but don't really care if everyone actually uses them.
When I purchased them, mine came factory set $1.50 for a wash & $1.50 for drying. Before I put them into use, I bumped them up to $2.00 each which is the maximum my machine coin slot can do. I believe that the dryers run for 20 or 30 minutes but have never checked it. I'm in the same general area as Lynn[MA] is. I've found that at the price I charge it covers the electric cost to run them as well as to run a water heater that supplies the washers & my storeroom sink, the extra water used, someone to keep the area clean and some for maintenance as well as eventual replacement.

$1.50 wash
1.00 dry
Strangely, more money turns up in the drier than the washer.
Also more money is brought in the summer than the winter....which is also strange as you wear more in the winter. So my guess is because of sweating for the guys....and glowing for the girls --24.154.xx.x |
