Anyone ever use Petscreening.com to handle pets or ESA requests?

Yes. I require all applicants to submit a profile, even if a no-pet profile. I have found their handling of accommodation requests to be thorough and by the book. There are others here who use it or have used it. Some like it, some don't.

I would recommend you read and familiarize yourself with HUD FHEO Notice: FHEO-2020-01

Subject: Assessing a Person’s Request to Have an Animal as a Reasonable Accommodation Under the Fair Housing Act

Access the document at www.hud.gov/sites/dfiles/PA/documents/HUDAsstAnimalNC1-28-2020.pdf --98.174.xxx.xxx

I require all applicants to set up a profile. True applicants, not preview questions. Just like I require all applicants to complete a background check. --50.82.xxx.xxx

Even if you use a pet screening service, all dogs should have an in-person interview, to see if they are well mannered, kept clean, and the breed that the applicant claims they are.

As a generalization, you must accept service dogs and ESAs, but you do not have to take them if they have dangerous behavior issues or if they are completely out of control. You won't learn that by using a website to screen them. --76.178.xxx.xxx

John,

I tried them. Not gonna use them any more.

They did not screen the person or animal that CLAIMED to be ESA. The only criteria was the applicant clicking ESA on their website. No paperwork. Did not protect me or help at all. In fact, they supported the scammer.
