Here if governments really care about homeless people they should funding the federation of homeowners where one tenant told me they getting half million a year. In the province of Ontario we had for one term the Socialist Democratic government where they wanted bankrupt private sector rental housing providers where there were punitive measures for major renovations where one 20,000 workers went home as there penalties for energy conservation. Example if rental housing provider installed high efficiency gas boilers then a tenant could apply for rent reduction under rent control to reduce rent where building owners stopped all the work. Later on more jobs were lost.
