According to the latest data from S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller, US home prices in the top 20 cities rose at a stunning 10.10% year-over-year - its fastest acceleration since 2014...
That is a price rise that is five times The Fed's 'mandated' level of inflation.
Phoenix, San Diego and Seattle posted the biggest gains in prices. Nationally, the Case-Shiller index jumped 10.4% in December, also the biggest surge since 2014 . . .
So is it time to sell your real assets for the high prices or time to buy more and let inflation pay off the debt?

In orange county California, Home of Disneyland we are seeing many houses sell for more than the asking price.
Rent increases and evictions are still on hold until 6-30 unless the date is extended. --99.23.xxx.x |

Hope the trend hangs on a bit, just inherited a home in Redondo Beach. Average days on market in that neighborhood is 6 days! House next door went in 4 days, and there was a squatter in it.
With this crazy C-19 and eviction moratorium, we are going to sell amd invest elsewhere. Not sure where yet, but it won't be in residential housing. --209.203.xxx.xx |
