I know that many of you designed your own LL website--which website builder did you use or would recommend? --205.223.xxx.xx

I used a free website template place, which now seems to be defunct, and modified it using an old version of FrontPage 2003 and an old version of Photoshop 6.0. :) --137.118.xx.xxx

A second vote for weebly. You can fiddle around with a free one and when you want want Ad free you can upgrade. It's not that expensive and you can register your domain with them too. Try to come up with a domain name that is your business and is short or obvious how to spell.

It's not that intuitive (at least for me) but I can drop and drag and build the web pages. There are youtube tutorials. Keep it simple - home page with who what and why you are the best in your area. A how to apply page with buttons that link to PDF files. An available homes page. A contact page where you can capture their email and or phone and push an email out to a list of people when you have a vacancy.

Once you get it set up all you are changing are the properties you are actively showing. So not really too labor intensive

I set up a "gallery", upload a picture and the site lets you put a link when they click on the picture. The link will take the viewer to either zumper or zillow or where ever I have listed the property with all the pictures.

There is a recent discussion on looking at LL websites. Check out other's and copy their ideas. No sense reinventing the wheel.

I used register.com

I'm sure there are cheaper options, but they have customer service that can talk you through things.

My domain, website and business email are all through them. Readily customer service is all important to me and I don't mind paying for it. --68.37.xx.xx

Thanks All.

The "show me..." post is what made me consider a website...

1 --For the initial questionnaire when advertising vacancy

2 -- maintenance requests-most Tenants send email, which works but I liked some of the Maintenance forms I saw on "show me..." post

Again Thank you!

PS Ray-N-Pa-- I am in north Florida-- we can get down into the 20's--mostly 30's, though. --205.223.xxx.xx
