I put up one this year after losing 2 seasons of produce to groundhogs-not everything but enough to get POed. No problems this year. Nothing got in except for birds. I then potted my strawberries this year(easier to net) and someone in my house decided to use the "soil" in the pots to fix ruts in the lawn. Guess I will find them in the spring.. Ordered the zapping off Amazon and had plenty. --73.230.xxx.xx

Yes, it works great! I'm happy for your success.

And I love strawberries, too! Sorry they got spread around. At least you had "help" fixing the lawn (grimace) --68.229.xxx.xxx

The brand "fence" that we use here is Winchester - keeps the ground hogs out.

With six more weeks of winter forecasted, there is another ground hog that I need dial in on - thanks Punxie Phil --24.154.xx.x

After years with no troubles I found the vermin going after my prize fruits and vegetables. My pomegranates ad apples were the favorites for the riff raft crowed. So I had to place small chicken wire around the pants/trees. --47.155.xx.xxx

You can eradicate underground varmints by leaking propane into an entry point, it is heavier than air so it moves around below ground like the Bugs Bunny cartoon character, Ignition not recommended. --23.125.xxx.xx

Even easier than an electric fence is electric netting. Easy to put up, easy to move and easy to take down. It comes in different sizes for the animals you want to control. Started using it for the sheep, since I could rotate where they grazed. Even keeps the bears out of the apiary. Premier1supplies --71.164.xx.x
