If there is top freeze then on top of the refrigerator compartment will see the drain that goes to the motor pan where the water evaporates from the heat of the motor. Another option if have a air compressor then blow out drain line from back of fridge along thoroughly cleaning all dust in fan compartment on the back bottom of the fridge. When a refrigerator goes into defrost cycle then some of ice in the freezer is melted then the water goes to pan under the compressor motor assembly where if the drain tube is blocked then the water will be on the bottom of fridge compartment. View some videos on You Tube where describe problem then check out videos where view a few different videos. --99.236.xxx.xxx

I just had this happen to a 12 year old kenmore. The floor underneath was soft and rotted, including the floor joists. The pan was dry. The freezer would only go down to 32 degrees. Tenants of 5 years mentioned the floor after moving. I installed a new fridge after repairing floor. I left the ice cube trays in the old fridge and was surprised the new fridge didn't have any. Very slow leak coming from inside back corner. Other side of where pan is. --35.132.xxx.xxx

Hubba,

I will check for blocked tube. I think this is what out previous repair guy did to fix.

Small potatoes,

I will unplug for a day to see if it is a thaw issue.
