Black Friday 2020 is going to be different for those bargain shoppers.
For me, I don't wake up at o'dark 30 to see what junk WalMart is selling. I have been know to show up at 10 AM and see the aftermath. Amazingly enough WalMart never runs out of junk to sell you. I am more of an online shopper than I am doing the Black Friday Wrestling match. Many retailers are moving for longer bargain periods and more online deals. What I have noticed is a great deal less marketing about what the upcoming deal is
So my question - What are the Black Friday deals out there that can be had. I am looking especially for the online ones......but I am wondering if quality is going to be cut to.

Home Depot has garage door openers for $78, I picked up 4, tractor supply has a decent gun safe for $299, since I have no guns, they come on very handy for storing paperwork, and other valuables, Incase if a house fire. Home Depot also has an 8 foot ladder for $49 --66.169.xxx.xxx |

As far as I can tell, the Black Friday deals are never any better than the prices closer to Christmas. Although, I've never gone into the big box stores looking for flooring or appliances.
I've never gone Black Friday shopping, so this year will be my first. I'm going after the USDA Prime beef whole New York roast that Costco is advertising on sale. If I can get into the parking lot, that is. Parking is nearly impossible on a regular shopping day so it might be unobtainable on Black Friday.
I wonder why Costco uses a business model of having inadequate parking at all of their stores? No Costco ever has enough parking for all of their customers. --76.178.xx.xx |

I hadn't even thought about it this year...
Two years ago I went out at 6am and got my compound mitre saw at a big discount, and I've used it for all kind of things. I think I got my brad nailer at one of those sales too.
I'll have to check what HD and Lowes have available. --72.188.xxx.xxx |

I believe HD has a $498 appliance instant rebate special going on. Buy up to six units each priced at $498 or higher and get $600 off the total.
So since my 16 cu/ft frig is exactly $498, it is a buy 4.5 appliances and get 1.5 free. --24.101.xxx.xx |

It's called marketing for a reason. Are you really getting good deals or are you better off waiting for certain other times or types of discounts like closeouts? The only way to really know would be to go physically look at the product and date before the "sale" and then compare during. That involves time and mileage. No way am I fighting those crowds. Online shopping you can't physically look before you buy and a lot of packages get abused especially over the holiday rush. --73.120.xx.xxx |

I would say too that most of these items that go on "sale" are probably old models that are going out so they can bring in the new style. That would be fine for certain items though especially for a rental. --73.120.xx.xxx |

Oh boy can they even advertise such a sale? What about other colors? Other colors are important too. --172.56.xx.x |
