Month the month tenant needs to go. What is the best way to get him out? Section 8. Rent paid on time every month. After many issues I believe that he has mental problems. Today my husband and a worker were told to "get out of my house" when they all were downstairs looking at some work that needs to be done. He needs to go. melinda - yes, give them the standard "30 day" (or whatever it is that you need to provide that is the legal way of doing things in your state/ area). You typically do not need to give any REASON as to why ... just that you are ending their tenancy (at least, that's the way it is for now in NYS). If they call you or text or whatever and ask why ... I would not give them any specific reason.
small potatoes - I can't give the reason in MD but in NY (at least where I am) S8 doesn't need to be a year lease after the first year. I also have "heard" that if they have been on S8 for a while, the tenant doesn't even have to be placed in a year lease on the first year (I don't know if that's true or not though). --67.242.xx.xx |

You may need an attorney who is familiar with section 8 program. In my area, there is a specific verbiage goes with the 30 day notice.. otherwise, you can't get them out --71.117.xxx.xx |
