The stimulus is created to distract and buy votes by shaking more dollars from the magic money tree. Doesn't matter which party is in power or if we do $1.8 T or $2.2 T. When the car goes over the cliff, it makes no sense to debate if you went over at 70 mph or 100 mph.
What people are learning from this manufactured economic crisis is the Govt should always fix everything, using money they don't have, from taxes that will never be collected.
In 10 years, I don't think we will be talking about taxes any more. Govt will create money and give it out to whomever they feel should have it. Basically, what they're doing today with the stimulus. The question is: will the goods/services provider accept the digits? --107.216.xxx.xxx |

Which bill are you referring to? I see two proposed Senate bills that neither contain housing assistance. I see a White House proposal that might include housing assistance at 60B but tweets and the occasional incoherent news conference make it hard to tell. The passed House bill does contain housing assistance at 71B. Is this the one you are talking about? --50.5.xxx.xx |

All these so-called "car accidents" are just manufactured statistics between police dept and insurance companies. I think 6x6 has this one right. This is the main reason I didn't apply for the PPP thing when it came out. I was too afraid of what the strings would be. Additionally, I could see new "rules" added later and making it retroactive. I didn't want to risk that. I have a feeling any new bill passed for "landlord relief" would have several strings attached as well. --68.102.xxx.xxx |
