Anyone here use UV-C Lamps? I use an ozone generator on vacant rentals when there are odors but has anyone used them for killing mold, bacteria etc on vacancies or in bathrooms with mildew/mold?

I see a bunch of them on Amazon but they all look like products of china.

Don't bother, just wait 2 days. COVID dies of old age in 2 days. UV-C lights are great but they will fade colors and destroy elastic and fibers in a closed room if used regularly.

The hysteria will all end after the elections so don't worry. --108.69.xxx.xxx

I used an ozone machine to disinfect hotel rooms during Covid - problem is you have to wait a few hours for it to work and dissipate the ozone - prefer UV-C light. Generally use an ozone machine overnight to deodorize apartments and sterilize filthy apartments on moveout. Read they have just discovered a UV light that doesn't harm skin or eyes - but cuidado - many of the Chinese lights don't actually have UV-C - google for fake UV-C lights for sale. --201.140.xxx.xx

Lynn didn't ask anything about Covid... She asked about using them to kill mold, bacteria, and mildew in bathrooms.

The odor is gone when the bacteria element has been burned away, so the question is really the answer, The uv-c light does great in the air plenum so the treated air being sent out is the sanitized product away from human eyes, ozone helps there but must be controlled carefully to prevent overtreating the treated air, the ionizer helps control that aspect... --76.188.xxx.xxx
